NanoTerasu共用ビームラインの利用ニーズに関するアンケートのお願い

3GeV高輝度放射光施設 NanoTerasu（ナノテラス）は軟X線に強みをもつ、国内最新の放射光施設で、初めての共用課題の利用が2025年3月にスタートしました。

NanoTerasuには計28本のビームラインポートがあり、今後18本のビームラインを整備することが可能です。空きポートには共用ビームラインを増設することが可能ですので、ユーザーの皆様のニーズに応じた計測が可能なビームライン等を増設していきたいと考えております。

今回、NanoTerasuの共用ビームライン増設計画の検討にあたり、利用ニーズを定量的に把握するためのアンケートを実施いたします。NanoTerasuの共用ビームライン増設に向けた今後の方針を検討するためにも大変重要な調査となりますので、皆様のご協力をよろしくお願いいたします。回答に要する時間は10分程度です。

なお、アンケート結果は、集計の上、ビームラインの仕様検討等のバックデータとして利用する予定です。

Dear all members of the Japanese Liquid Crystal Society,

Request for a Questionnaire on the Usage Needs of the NanoTerasu Public
Beamlines

The 3 GeV Synchrotron Rradiation Facility “NanoTerasu” is Japan’s newest
synchrotron radiation facility with strengths in soft X-rays, and the
first public use started in March 2025.

NanoTerasu has a total of 28 beamline ports, and 18 beamlines can be
installed in the future. The available ports can be used to increase the
public beamlines. We are planning to add beamlines that meet the needs
of NanoTerasu users.

In considering the expansion plan of the NanoTerasu public beamlines, we
will conduct a questionnaire survey to quantitatively understand the
needs of NanoTerasu users. This is a very important survey for the
future planning of the expansion of the NanoTerasu public beamlines, and
we would appreciate your cooperation. It will take about 10 minutes to
complete the survey.

The results of the survey will be compiled and used as back-up data for
consideration of beamline specifications.
