1. Registration for presentation in the Annual Meeting:

Open from May 1st (Mon.) till May 26th (Fri.) 15:00 (JST)

Registration site will open on May 1st (Mon.).

Notes:
In the registration, please choose oral presentation/poster presentation/no preference.
Oral presentation is 20 minutes including discussion.
Poster presenters under the age of 30 (JLCS members; excluding the previous awardees) are eligible to apply for the JLCS Kousai Poster Award and those who belongs to the master and bachelor course of student are could be apply for the new poster award.

Registration for presentation form closed at 3:00 p.m., May 26th (JST)


2. Abstract submission:

Open from June 16th (Fri.) till July 7th (Fri.)

Submission site will open on June 16th (Fri.).

The publication date of the JLCC2017 abstracts (CD-ROM) will be August 10th, 2017.

3. Registration for participation and payment:

Registration for participation and payment (early bird fee): June 19th (Mon.) – July 21st (Fri.)

Registration for participation and payment (late fee): July 24th (Mon.)-August 16th (Wed.)

Note (common to all participants):
Member fee applies also to members of Societies in cooperation, and to those from Corporate Members (in Japanese).

Notes to participants from abroad:
Participants from abroad can pay the early-bird registration fee at the conference site if you complete the registration for participation and payment by the early-bird fee deadline (July 21st (Fri.), JST). Only cash (Japanese yen) will be accepted.
Conference materials (abstract CD-ROM, name badge) will be handed at the conference site, and will not be sent to your address.

Notes to participants from Japan:
Although on-site registration and payment are possible, registration and payment in advance are strongly encouraged to avoid unnecessary troubles. Late fee applies to on-site payment.
Early-bird fee applies to participants who complete payment by bank transfer through Japan Post Bank (ゆうちょ銀行) by the early-bird fee deadline (July 21st (Fri.), JST).
Participants who complete registration and payment by August 16th (Wed.) will receive conference materials (abstract CD-ROM and name badge) one week prior to the Conference.

Early-bird (till July 21st): 8,000 yen
Late/On site: 10,000 yen

Regular (non-student), non-member:
Early-bird (till July 21st): 17,000 yen
Late/On site: 19,000 yen

Student, member:
Early-bird (till July 21st): 4,000 yen
Late/On site: 5,000 yen

Student, non-member:

Additional abstract CD-ROM: 3,000 yen

4. Friendship Meeting (September 12th)

Date: September 12th (Tue.)

Site: Room 405, General Education Building (4F), Bunkyo-cho Campus, Hirosaki University

This friendship meeting is intended to provide young researchers with an opportunity to establish friendship with each other and to create a network to conduct joint research. We are planning a symposium that enables free and vigorous discussion on cutting-edge researches from young researchers. We are waiting for active participation of young researchers as well as graduate students, undergraduates and self-proclaimed young members, and short presentations from young researchers. Young researchers are encouraged to give a short presentation to introduce their research. If you wish to give a short presentation, notify us choosing "Present and Participitate" in the "Participate for Frendship Meeting" field of the registration form for participation that will open on June 19th.


5. Annual Meeting Program

Will be available in July.


6. Accommodation

Participants are responsible for their own accommodation.
Regarding accommodation in Hirosaki, the following sites will be helpful.

There is a bus bound for Hirosaki University from front of the JR Hirosaki station so it is convenient to stay at the hotel in front of the station.


7. Information for presenters

Information for oral presenters
Oral presentation is 20 minutes including 5-minute discussion.
Bring your own PC for the presentation, and make sure in the break time that it works well with the projector on site.

Information for poster presenters
Poster presentation will be on September 13th (Wed.) and detailed schedule will be announced later.
Poster panel: height 180cm, width 120cm (We recommend your poster height to be 120cm or smaller).
Pushpins are prepared at the poster room.
